DESCRIPTION AND MISSION

Every child deserves a first chance at success. Success in school and success in life. First Chance for Children is committed to giving our youngest children (birth to 3 years of age) and those most at risk, the kind of optimal quality early childhood experiences that not only will get them ready for kindergarten, but will last a lifetime. Lend and Learn Toy Libraries are designed to be safe locations where young children and their parents can play with age-appropriate toys and play and interact with other children and families. Our program supports children in developing socially, emotionally, and cognitively. In order to be accessible to low-income families, the toys can be played with in the Lend and Learn Library or borrowed for free from the library.

ACTIVITIES:

MU Serves students may volunteer at the Lend and Learn Library at First Chance for Children main office on 1002 Fay Street.
